Lead Clinical Scientist
Ben is lead clinical scientist in the vascular laboratory at King's College Hospital in London. Ben is an HCPC registered clinical scientist with 18 years experience in non-invasive diagnosis of vascular disease. Specialist interests include assessment of diabetic arterial disease and assessment of dialysis related vascular access. Ben completed undergraduate studies in biomedical science at Sheffield in 2001 and MSc in Medical Ultrasound from King's College London in 2004. Ben sits on the executive committee of the Society for Vascular Technology of Great Britain and Ireland.
Ben takes a keen interest in education in vascular ultrasound and is an honorary senior lecturer on the vascular module of the ultrasound programme at Kings College London as well as sitting on the national curriculum review board for the national scientist training programme in vascular science.
