As we have been running ultrasound training for many years, it is time to review what we actually provide in line with the current CPD point system.
Across the board, and specifically within the sector, the medical Royal Colleges have collectively agreed to award CPD credits on the basis of one credit per hour of teaching, learning or reflection. We have not reviewed our CPD points in line with this development and now is the time to bring our courses in line with other training providers.
This means our two day courses will now be 14 CPD points to reflect the two days of 7 hours of teaching and practical scanning; whilst our one day course will be 7 CPD points. We will be updating our course programme and this will be reflected in the Course certificates received by delegates on completion of all our courses.
We look forward to being able to provide our standard course programme next year and are enjoying being able to widen our course offering through the increased provision of our on-site courses. These offer a great opportunity for our highly experienced faculty to visit your hospital/ clinic and provide a tailored training programme for your team, on your own machines.
